The GASIP team was in Wa West specifically Wechiau where Verempere FBO adjudged as the Best Conservation Agriculture FBO for the Districts.

The event was attended by the Wa West District Chief Executive, Mr Edward Laabiir Sabo who appreciated the efforts of GASIP and government for supporting smallholder farmers. He admonished all farmers to take advantage of Government interventions, especially Planting for Food and Jobs to be able to obtain relevant inputs and machinery for agricultural production.

The Regional Director of Agriculture for the Upper West, Mr. Emmanuel Sasu Yeboah, who graced the event used the opportunity to sensitize farmers in the District on the relevance of Conservation Agriculture in the midst of Climate Change.
