The Ghana Agricultural Sector Investment Programme (GASIP) has successfully ended a three-day retreat under the theme: Consolidating the gains - strengthening farmer-based organizations: Experiences, lessons learnt and moving forward. The retreat which took place from 21 to 23 October 2020 was meant to review activities of the Program to date, plan for 2021 as well as planning for other project activities that fall under the management of the Program Coordinating Unit.

The retreat was attended by key stakeholders from IFAD, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Ministry of Finance, other collaborating projects, selected beneficiaries as well as the staff of the Programme.

Key activities and action plans have been agreed upon, which will be very crucial to the 2021 program implementation strategy.

GASIP wishes to thank all stakeholders who attended the retreat for their useful contributions.
