He holds a Master’s Degree in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation (2007) and Bachelor’s Degree (2004) all from the Civil Engineering Department of Kwame University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He is a corporate member of Ghana Institution of Engineers and Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council, Geneva and Project Management Professional (PMP) credential holder from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
He has over twelve years project management experience in the areas of building, road, water and sanitation projects working with UNICEF (2011-2016), Community Water and Sanitation Agency (2010-2011), Ghana Highway Authority (2007-2009) and Donados Company Limited (2005-2007).

Position in GASIP: National Finance Manager
Under the direct supervision of the National Programme Coordinator, and within the framework of Project Design document, and financing agreement, Mark Awiah is responsible for the financial and administrative management of the Ghana Agricultural Sector Investment Programme, including Accounting, Budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, auditing arrangement, flow of funds, and the efficient management of Programme resources.
Mark Awiah is a shrewd professional with over nineteen (19) years solid financial management and accounting work experience in Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), donor-funded projects, and private sector companies. His areas of practical expertise include, accounting system set-ups, internal controls, financial reporting, management accounting, contracts/grants management, audits, taxation, risk management, logistics & fleet management, payroll, treasury, budgeting, partner/grantee financial monitoring & capacity building and asset management.
Prior to Ghana Agricultural Sector Investment Programme (GASIP), Mark Awiah worked as the Head of Group Finance Operations at Rancard Solutions Ltd; Senior Financial Analyst at Vodafone, Ghana; Country Finance Manager of Oxfam GB, Ghana Programme; Finance/Office Manager for the UNDP/GEF/GOG Renewable Energy Services Project, and Project Accountant with the Catholic Diocesan Development Office of the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese.
An award winning graduate of the School of Administration (now University of Ghana Business School) of University of Ghana, Legon, with a B.Sc. Admin (Accounting Option) degree; Mark Awiah also holds an MBA (Accounting & Finance) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resource Development. Mark is chartered accountant, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAGH).

Mr Adu-Boahen is a professional young man with seven years project working experience with strong track-record of delivery performance and very knowledgeable in donor funded projects and programmes under IFAD, EU, GEF and OFID having risen through the ranks in the IFAD Projects as Programme Accounts Assistant in 2010.
He is the Senior Accounts Officer for the GEF-ProVACCA project and the Ghana Agricultural Sector Investment Programme.
He hold a Master of Business Administration degree with specialization in Finance from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Art degree in Social Science from the University of Cape Coast. He has good working knowledge in IScala accounting software.

Mrs. Edith Adomako holds a Masters Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Coventry University (UK) /Ghana Technology University College. She also has a Masters Degree in Development Management (Major in Procurement) from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and a BSc. Degree in Agricultural Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
She has more than 16 years diverse experience working in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture as Agricultural Economist and Procurement Officer. Prior to her current joining GASIP she was the Deputy Director in charge of Procurement in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA). She has over 8 years’ experience in procurement and Contract Management. Edith has good knowledge and proven ability to implement and manage Government of Ghana funded procurements and Donor- Funded procurements of Goods, Works and Services (World Bank, African Development Bank and International Fund for Agricultural Development, etc.).

Catherine Koblah has sixteen (16) years’ experience as a secretary, haven worked on a number of Donor Funded Projects including European Union (EU), World Bank and Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA). She gather these experiences from the Policy Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate (PPMED) of MOFA, she also had the opportunity to be the secretary to a Hon. Minister, a Chief Director and six National Directors of MOFA during this years.
Catherine Koblah holds a first Degree in Business Administration (Management) from Zenith University College, a Private Secretary Certificate from NACVET. Certificate in Customer Care from Civil Service Training Centre. Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). ICT training on Ms. Word, Ms. Excel and Ms. Power point and the use of the internet from Atlantic Computer Training Institute, Accra. and Advance ICT training from Civil Service Training Centre.
